Request a room for today or use the touchpanel located outside any study room. For help with room reservations, call 970.248.1244 or 970.248.1406, stop by the Checkout & Reserves Desk on the 1st floor, or Library Administration Office on the 3rd floor.

Touchpanel study room reservation instructions
- Green light indicates the room is available to reserve immediately: Touch Available to reserve the room.
Red light indicates the room is reserved: Touch Find for a list of rooms available right now. - Touch Subject to type a name or description for your group.
- Click a Reservation Length, or touch
to reserve the room for the maximum time available. - Touch Reserve at the bottom of the screen to complete your reservation.
Using QR code on touchpanel for reservations
- Open the photo app on your mobile device
- Position the QR code within the image frame
- You will get a prompt asking if you want to open the link from the QR code: Open the link
- Sign into MAVzone
- Choose the room, time, and duration for your reservation
- Submit your reservation
Study room guidelines
The library has 30 reservable study rooms with various technologies that accommodate from two to eight people.
- Study rooms can be reserved for a maximum of two hours each day.
- Please leave rooms in good condition for the next group: wipe down work area, place all trash in the containers provided, erase boards, push in chairs, and log off computers.
- Study rooms are not soundproof. Please respect other library patrons by keeping conversations to an appropriate level.
- The library upholds the policies in the Maverick Guide. Violations will be referred to the Student Conduct Officer.
- Alcohol, marijuana, cigarettes, e-cigarettes, and other recreational drugs are strictly prohibited in the study rooms at all times.
Study Room for Future Date
Request a room for a future date. If request is made for under 24 hours, reservation may not be guaranteed. For help with future date room reservations, please email the Library Administration Office at libraryrooms@coloradomesa.edu.

Classroom, Conference Room, or Event Space
Classroom Information
The Library has two technology-rich classrooms for course-related library instruction and are reservable by faculty and staff. Classrooms L212 and L231 each have whiteboards, 34 student computer stations, and an instructor's station with a computer and projection equipment.
Classroom Policies
- Library classrooms are for occasional-use only, and not for ongoing needs/classes.
- Please be present with your class.
- For new users of classrooms: At the beginning of each semester, IT provides faculty training on the use of classroom technology.
- For help using classroom technology, or if you have special technology needs, please contact the IT Help Desk at 970.248.1111, online, or on the 1st floor.
- Classrooms are kept locked for security reasons. If the room is locked when you arrive, please ask for help at the Checkout & Reserves Desk on the 1st floor, or the Library Administration Office on the 3rd floor.
- Please close the door when you leave--it will lock automatically.
Conference Room Information
The Boettcher Conference Room accommodates 18 people, and is reservable to CMU affiliates and off-campus groups. Conference Room L331 overlooks the beautiful Grand Mesa and Mt. Garfield, and is equipped with a computer, projection equipment, and video and phone conferencing. Reservations must be made through the University Center.
24-hour Study Space
The 24-hour study space is located on the food service side of the library. The area is equipped with PCs, Macs, printer, white boards, restrooms, comfortable seating and pleasant views. Currently enrolled students must register to use the area using this link. It may take up to two days for your registration to be processed.
For security reasons, once inside, do not open any door to give access to others. If you are a currently enrolled student who has registered to use the space, but are having trouble gaining access after library building hours, please contact Facilities during business hours at 970.254.1465, or email ATLAS@coloradomesa.edu with the details (name, 700#, day, time).
